BPC Spring Mission Trip 2017 to West Virginia
Thank you Sarah Bader for creating this wonderful video!
2017 Vacation Church School for All Ages
Sunday, June 25-Wednesday, June 28 starts at 5:30-8 PM “God Call Us to Mission Around the World in Four Days”
Children, Youth, and Adults are invited to join us for four fun faith-filled
evenings as we explore the wonderful world of mission! Adults and youth (6th grade on up) have the opportunity to experience conversations in multiculturalism from 4 different perspectives, with 4 different outside speakers featured each evening.
Children (4 years old through 5th graders) will learn through story, song, music, games, and crafts what is means to bear witness to God’s love for the world through the mission of the greater church and BPC.
Evenings will start with dinners at 5:30 and we will finish by 8PM every night. We also have group mission projects that we be working on that will benefit a local and global mission endeavor.
The website will soon feature a registration VCS form so please be watching for it! You can also RSVP with Michelle at the church office. We suggest a contribution of $15 person for the week or $45 for a family. Wednesday evening, we will conclude with a fun celebration event too! Please call the pastors with any questions 472-5841 or email the 2017 directors Cheryl Barlow at firstname.lastname@example.org or Eliza Michalski at email@example.com.
Hope to see everybody at VCS on opening night, June 25th!
New Youth Lounge in memory of Blake Marston
One of BPC’s Capital Campaign projects has been the creation of a Youth Lounge – a place where young people (grades 6-12) can hang out, learn new things, and grow in grace. The new lounge, given in loving memory of Blake Marston, is downstairs in the old “Youth Activity Room.” The old space has been transformed with beautiful artwork, comfortable furniture, and a great TV and sound system.
Caring Closet Update
The Caring Closet at BPC has provided a basic wardrobe and a sense of hope to more than 100 women leaving the NH Women's Prison. In 2017 we are expanding the Caring Closet by partnering with two Manchester nonprofits: Dismas Home and Serenity Place. Additional outreach services planned include a meals ministry with Dismas Home of NH, personalized "shopping" for our recipients (when possible), a mentorship program and monthly clothing drives to provide a steady inventory of clothing for the Closet. Contact Susan Swain for more details about the Caring Closet or to get involved: 471-0573 or firstname.lastname@example.org. February Caring Closet collection: Please donate the following clothing items. (All donations can be placed in the donation bin near the Welcome Counter outside Fellowship Hall. Clothing should be clean and in excellent condition and no stained or torn items). *Women's coats and jackets (all sizes) *Women's pants: jeans, sweat/yoga pants, and washable slacks *NEW women's underwear (bikini and briefs) *Toothpaste - travel and full size
Uber is here!
Are you someone who may need a ride to church or are you someone who would be able to offer a ride? The Deacons would like to connect these two groups. The new BPC Uber site being developed by the Deacons will list people needing a ride.
Those able to offer a ride can sign up to provide transportation for a specific Sunday or Sundays. If you need a ride or if you would like to join the BPC Uber group, please get in touch with Barb Sofield at email@example.com or 472- 8152.
Women's Books and Bible Group
