On Sunday, April 23, the BPC Hiking Group is setting out at 11:30 am from the church to hike the Skatutakee and Thumbs Mountains in Hancock, NH. This trail is a moderately challenging, 5-mile loop hike with 859 feet of elevation gain through beautiful forests with foliage views at the top. The approximate hiking time is estimated at three hours at a leisurely pace with stops.
Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash. For those who would like to carpool or caravan, meet at 11:30 am at the Bedford Presbyterian Church parking lot (4 Church Road; Bedford, NH) or at 12:30 pm at the Harris Center main parking lot. (Rain date will be Sunday, May 7.)
