Year Three of Our Commitment!
Exciting news! We invite you to be a part of our commitment, March 10—March 16, 2024, to rebuild homes and communities in Puerto Rico following the ongoing impact of Hurricane Maria and subsequent earthquake devastations. We have been working closely with our partners in Puerto Rico, Techos Pa’ Mi Gente and Presbyterian Disaster Assistance – Puerto Rico, to create a hands-on and immersive experience that helps local communities in need as recovery efforts continue to this day.
The trip costs $850 per person and covers airfare, lodging, meals, and worksite transportation. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or new to recovery work, everyone is welcome! If travel isn’t possible, there are many opportunities to serve this ministry, from fundraising and outreach to creating prayer shawls, blankets, and more. We also welcome anyone interested in providing financial sponsorship for individuals eager to serve this ministry who are facing constraints that prevent them from joining the trip.
The online application to join the trip is open until January 20, 2024.
