Families in Transition

Families in Transition has ongoing needs for volunteers to serve in and around the local Manchester, New Hampshire area. These include: serving meals at the local FIT Kitchen (usually on Friday evenings), driving meals to Manchester locations, using the FIT  van (this requires a valid driver’s license DMV check and proof of insurance), filing and organizing (requires attention to detail to help their housing team reorganize and clean up hardcopy files), and deep cleaning the shopping area in the food pantry (cleaning freezers, refrigerators, shelving and floors).

Contact our Academy Elder for more information and to receive notifications about additional opportunities to serve.

Meal Ministry

The Deacon’s Meal Ministry program is looking for “on-call” volunteers. As needs arise, volunteers will receive a group email with details and a signup form for meal requirements. Join today to support this important ministry for our congregation members.

Neighborhood Support Team (NST)

If you have a calling to serve and are unsure where to start, consider volunteering for the Bedford Presbyterian Neighborhood Support Team (NST). The NST is a Co-Sponsor Team that provides hospitality and connections for families as they resettle in the Bedford/Manchester area. There are many opportunities to help, from providing meals and transportation to child care and teaching English. Whether you have an hour here and there or are available more often, we need more volunteers.

Reach out to our Mission Committee team for more information on joining this team.
