Earth Care Ministry Leader

We are seeking a dedicated volunteer to lead our Earth Care Ministry as part of the Buildings and Grounds Green Team. This role is essential in guiding our congregation in the stewardship of God’s creation through energy conservation, waste reduction, and environmental care. As the Earth Care Ministry leader, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the Green Team, church members, local businesses, and other Presbyterian congregations to develop and implement a variety of programs at BPC. These initiatives could include organizing a Creation Care Worship Series, hosting a “Blessing of the Panels” service, leading Lent carbon reduction campaigns, or creating an educational series on sustainability. Additionally, you can link these initiatives with our Matthew 25 Committee goals and church vitality efforts. This role empowers all generations to practice responsible energy use, sustainability, and care for the environment. This person is encouraged to explore new ideas and activities that inspire conservation and strengthen BPC’s Earth Care mission. If you’re passionate about making a difference, we invite you to consider this opportunity. Email Buildings and Grounds today!

Neighborhood Support Team (NST)

If you have a calling to serve and are unsure where to start, consider volunteering for the Bedford Presbyterian Neighborhood Support Team (NST). The NST is a Co-Sponsor Team that provides hospitality and connections for families as they resettle in the Bedford/Manchester area. There are many opportunities to help, from providing meals and transportation to child care and teaching English. Whether you have an hour here and there or are available more often, we need more volunteers.
