BPC Mission Committee congratulates the BPC Neighborhood Support Team for receiving the
Extraordinary Impact Award at the national WelcomeNST Nation of Immigrants Awards.
The Award recognizes the NST’s outstanding dedication and hard work over the past 5 years,
which has made a “uniquely transformative and lasting impact on the lives” of BPC’s newcomer
family and the communities (Bedford and Nashua) which support them.
In addition to BPC members, who have generously given financial and volunteer support, the
NST has been supported by a number of community volunteers, churches, and organizations
over the years. Church and religious support includes Islamic Society of Greater Nashua,
Pilgrim Congregational Church UCC, Presbytery of Northern New England, Immigrant and
Refugee Support Group of New Hampshire Council of UCC, Unitarian Universalist Church of
Nashua, and a member of Saint Elizabet Seton Catholic Church.
