Have you or a loved one ever struggled to prepare meals after surgery or an illness? Have you walked into a funeral reception at church, finding comfort in a warm drink, a friendly face, and the quiet care of those who make that moment a little easier? Have you noticed the rising cost of food and wondered how families in need manage everyday meals and the hope of a special holiday dinner?
Imagine being unable to afford even one celebratory meal because food prices surge during the holidays. Imagine a college-bound student in your family needing extra help to cover books or fees. Imagine facing a crisis and knowing that a circle of faith is lifting you up in prayer somewhere.
Did you know that our BPC Deacons are constantly at work behind the scenes, tending to our congregation in seen and unseen ways? That thoughtful card in the mail, that unexpected phone call to check in, the quiet presence of someone who truly cares—these are just a few ways our Deacons serve. They provide meal ministry for BPC families in crisis, Thanksgiving meals for over 150 local families, and support for our Ageless Wonders monthly senior lunch. They guide new parents, welcome new members, and ensure that no one in our church family feels alone.
We invite you to support our Deacons’ Fund with a financial gift during the special offering on the first Sunday of each month or at any time. Your generosity helps sustain the Deacon’s ministry of care and compassion, ensuring that they can continue the work of God among us.
Thank you for giving and being part of our loving, supportive community.
