Celebrate the Spirit of the Season with Voices of Christmas

This holiday season, gather with family and friends for a heartwarming evening of storytelling, music, and reflection as Bedford Presbyterian Church presents Voices of Christmas. This enchanting performance brings together tales of hope, kindness, and the true meaning of Christmas, woven with sing-along carols that will uplift your spirit and warm your heart.

  • WHEN: Dec 14 at 4 PM, and Dec 15 at 10 AM (during worship)
  • WHERE: Bedford Presbyterian Church

The program features four inspiring narratives:

  • A Walk One Winter’s Night (adapted from the book by Al Andrews). Follow a woman struggling with the weight of the holiday season as she embarks on an evening walk. Passing by a Nativity scene, she encounters an unexpected moment of clarity that reignites her connection to the true meaning of Christmas.
  • Michael Mouse (Reader’s Theatre). Join Michael Mouse on his journey to the stable in Bethlehem, where his courage and determination lead him to witness the miracle of Christ’s birth and present the baby with an unexpected gift.
  • Little Women (Reader’s Theatre, adapted from the book by Louisa May Alcott). Step into the heartwarming world of the March sisters—Meg, Jo, Amy, and Beth—as they wake up on Christmas morning. Witness their selfless decision to share their Christmas meal with a family in need, showcasing the power of compassion and sacrifice.
  • Amazing Peace. Experience the majesty of Maya Angelou’s beloved Christmas poem, brought to life in a dramatic reading that celebrates the universal hope for peace.

Between these stories, the audience will be invited to join together to sing timeless Christmas carols to get you and your family in the holiday spirit.

Whether you’re seeking a festive night out or a meaningful way to connect with the heart of the holiday season, Voices of Christmas promises an unforgettable experience for all ages.
